Florida Pennants
2013I designed the Florida Pennants for my final project at a screen printing class taken during my sophomore year at RISD. I was inspired by the narrative value pennants possess, as well as their function as a souvenir for tourists. I was interested in designing pennants that showcased fictional events from familiar places, and featured exaggerated illustrations and satire typically present in skateboard graphics.

My illustrations were screen printed on to felt that I had sourced, cut and stitched.
The Florida Pennants were printed in a limited edition run and sold at the class’ end of semester sale.
